I have many interest. I like reading and gardening, photography and history, knitting and other needle work and I want to share all my likes with other people that like these things too.

I work at a local garden shop. Always surrounded by plants. When I am not at work I am generally enjoying a view on my deck in my back yard. It is a view of plants. I love gardening and just having my fingers in fresh soil and a great plant to put in a pot puts me in my happy place. Gardening is a hobby for many people and some take it to the next level and specialize in one certain type of plant species. Me, I love all plants but I will say that I do have a healthy collection ( note the key word here is collection) of African Violets going. I will feature certain plants on this site. I will tell you all about their special traits, needs, and growing habits. Perhaps I can enthuse someone out there to take up gardening as a hobby too.
